About the Role
We are looking for a Psychosexual Counsellor to support individuals and couples dealing with concerns related to sexual wellbeing, intimacy, relationships, and sexual health education.
This is a part-time, remote role designed for professionals who can hold sensitive conversations with maturity, non-judgment, and clinical clarity.
You will be part of a confidential and supportive care system where privacy, ethics, and emotional safety are central.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide 1:1 psychosexual counselling sessions for individuals and couples
2. Support clients with concerns around intimacy, sexual wellbeing, desire, performance anxiety, sexual identity, and relationship challenges
3. Offer psychoeducation in a safe, non-judgmental, and culturally sensitive manner
4. Help clients understand emotional, psychological, and relational aspects of sexual concerns
5. Maintain strict confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times
6. Document sessions and maintain structured clinical notes
7. Participate in supervision and case discussions when needed
8. Collaborate with senior psychologists and clinical team for complex cases
Requirements
Master’s degree in Psychology (Clinical / Counseling / Applied Psychology or equivalent)
Training or experience in psychosexual counselling, sex therapy, or relationship counselling
Comfortable discussing intimacy, sexuality & relationship concerns professionally and without judgment
Strong interpersonal, communication & active listening skills
Good communication skills and strong client engagement ability
Experience handling concerns related to intimacy, sexual wellbeing, relationships, anxiety, or self-esteem
Additional certifications in sex therapy, couples therapy, or trauma-informed care are a plus
