About the Role
We are looking for a Psychiatrist to join Koott in a part-time remote capacity.
In this role, you will focus on psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, medication management, and clinical collaboration with psychologists. You will play a key role in supporting complex cases where medical and psychological care need to work together.
This is a remote, part-time role with structured coordination and case-based collaboration.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct psychiatric evaluations and clinical assessments
2. Diagnose and manage mental health conditions requiring medical intervention
3. Prescribe and manage medications where clinically appropriate
4. Support treatment planning in collaboration with psychologists
5. Review complex cases and provide psychiatric insights to the care team
6. Participate in multidisciplinary discussions for integrated care
7. Ensure ethical, safe, and evidence-based psychiatric practice
8. Maintain proper clinical documentation and follow-up plans
Requirements
MBBS with MD / DNB in Psychiatry (mandatory)
Valid registration to practice as a psychiatrist in India
Experience in managing conditions such as depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, psychosis, and related conditions
Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and clinical psychiatry practice
Ability to collaborate effectively with psychologists and care teams
Ethical, responsible, and patient-centered approach to care
Comfort working in a remote, structured coordination model
