About the Role

We are looking for a Child Psychologist to join Koott in a part-time remote role.

In this role, you will work with children and adolescents facing emotional, behavioural, developmental, and learning-related challenges. You will also guide parents to better understand their child’s needs and support healthy emotional development at home.

This is a remote, shift-based role with structured onboarding and supervision.

Responsibilities:
1. Conduct counselling sessions with children and adolescents
2. Support parents in understanding emotional and behavioural concerns in children
3. Work on concerns such as anxiety, behavioural issues, attention difficulties, emotional regulation, and school-related stress
4. Use age-appropriate therapeutic approaches such as play-based, behavioural, and supportive techniques
5. Help create simple, structured intervention plans for children
6. Maintain clinical notes and track progress over time
7. Participate in supervision and case discussions with senior psychologists
8. Contribute to parent guidance sessions and psychoeducation initiatives when needed

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Psychology (Clinical / Counselling / Applied Psychology or equivalent)

  • Experience or strong interest in working with children and adolescents

  • Understanding of child development and behavioural/emotional concerns

  • Ability to communicate with children in a warm, calm, and engaging way

  • Comfortable working with parents and family systems

  • Strong ethical and child-centered approach to care

  • Willingness to work in a supervised, team-based clinical environment

  • Openness to learning and continuous development
